Autism Key is a site run by parents and for parents of children with autism & autism spectrum disorders.  Through first hand experience, we've learned that the most difficult part of receiving an autism diagnosis is the lack of support and readily available information.  

This site was created as a resource tool for parents and loved ones to encourage, support, and learn from one another's challenges.  The Autism Videos and Autism News sections will keep you informed and educated on the latest trends and news stories.  Additionally, our Autism Message Boards will allow you to share valuable information about different forms of treatment, physicians, specific disorders, and overall experiences.

Great interview with Raun Kaufman, CEO of the Autism Treatment Center of America and the Option Institute.

When Raun was 18 months, his parents received a diagnosis of severe autism with retardation and an IQ below 30. Experts told his parents he would never speak, never read, never communicate and at best, he might be able to learn to dress himself and other simple tasks.

Raun defied all the doctors and now holds a degree from Brown University. His story is very inspirational and we highly recommend listening to the interview.
